The Golden State Warriors have confirmed that Fake Klay Thompson has indeed been banned from Chase Center for life

According to a statement provided to SFGATE, he "impersonated a Warriors player in a deliberate 

Attempt to access unauthorized areas within Chase Center" and has been banned for life from both Chase Center and the team's G-League arena in Santa Cruz

On Monday, Warriors folk hero Fake Klay Thompson was spotted outside of Chase Center for the first time in years

Fake Klay who is portrayed by YouTube prankster Dawson Gurley has been discussed during previous ESPN broadcasts and Steve Kerr's media sessions

Monday may be the last time Warriors fans see Fake Klay Thompson for quite some time

On Monday, Gurley tweeted that he had been banned for life from Chase Center two hours before tip-off

Gurley then shared what he claimed was the official letter along with the ban

Which appears to be signed by Brian J. Herbert, the actual Vice President of Security of Chase Center
