Most realistic trade is Kevin Durant for Jaylen Brown

From the moment Durant requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets on June 30, it became the biggest story of the NBA offseason, but no deal has been negotiated

There was a mystery team with a serious bid right when it looked like Durant would return to Brooklyn

According to Shams Charania, the Boston Celtics offered Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, and a draft pick for Durant.

Apparently, Brooklyn turned down the offer, asking Boston for Marcus Smart and possibly additional draft compensation

The Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Toronto Raptors are also serious suitors for Durant, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN

The league's training camps open on Sept. 26, and Durant wants to be traded

As a result of his age, contract situation, and league rule, building a Durant deal was always going to be challenging, particularly given his age and contract situation.
