‘Breaking Bad’ meth-makers honored with bronze statues
A permanent place in Albuquerque's history will soon be dedicated to "Breaking Bad" characters Walter White and Jesse Pinkman
The AMC show's creator, Vince Gilligan, commissioned sculptor Trevor Grove to make bronze statues of actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul
They will be donated to the city where the show takes place after sitting for years at Gilligan's house
Albuquerque has been wonderful to us for 15 years, two TV shows, and one movie.
Gilligan said in a press release, according to IGN, "I wanted to return the favor."
Imagining them gracing the Duke City for decades to come, attracting busloads of tourists makes me happy
On July 29, Gilligan, Cranston, and Paul will attend an unveiling ceremony at the Albuquerque Convention Center
The statues will also be indoors, keeping pigeons from depositing their criticisms on our heads, Cranston and Paul joked
